We turned a Crown Towers habit into a concierge desk
Valeria Beach started as three friends comparing notes over lagoon-side breakfasts. Nine years and 2,400 booked stays later, it's the guide we wish existed on day one.
From lobby regulars to the people hotels call
In 2017 we were just the group that always ended up at Crown — birthdays, work trips, "we need a weekend" weekends. We kept a shared doc of which rooms were quiet, which tables had the best energy, which buffet sessions to dodge.
Friends asked for the doc. Then friends of friends. Then a travel agent asked if we'd consult. The doc became a service, the service became Valeria Beach — an independent concierge that books Crown Towers Perth stays with insider detail and zero markup on the room rate.
"Sell the stay you'd book for your own family. Everything else follows."
— the only rule written on our office wall2017 — the spreadsheet era
A shared Google doc of room numbers, noise notes and restaurant verdicts. Forty columns deep by Christmas.
2019 — first paid booking
A mate's anniversary. Corner suite, flowers waiting, Nobu at 8:15. He cried; we invoiced; the model was born.
2022 — concierge goes full-time
Opened the Nerang desk, added casino packages with responsible-gaming planning built in from the start.
2026 — 2,400 stays and counting
A five-person team, a journal with real field notes, and still the rule: we'd book it for our own family.
Three things we won't compromise
Honesty over commission
If a cheaper tower or a different date saves you $400, we say so — even when it costs us the bigger booking. Repeat guests beat one-time margins.
Fun with a seatbelt
Casino nights get budgets, spa days get downtime, itineraries get breathing room. A great weekend should still feel great on Tuesday.
Details you can stand on
"Room 1812 catches the sunrise" — that level of detail. Everything we recommend, we've done ourselves, recently, and probably twice.
The humans on the other end of your email
Small on purpose. Everyone below has personally slept in, eaten at, and argued about every venue we book.
Valeria Bennett
Ex-hotel ops manager. Has opinions about pillow menus and will share them unprompted.
Jack Moreno
Builds the gaming-budget plans. Reformed high-roller, now the guy who tells you when to stop.
Priya Shah
Knows every maître d' in the complex by first name. Your impossible table is her Tuesday.
Tom Riley
Answers the 2am "the shower is too good, send help" messages. Writes most of the journal.
Weekends we built lately
The river-view yes
Villa, photographer hidden as a "waiter", Nobu private room after. She said yes before dessert.
120 people, zero complaints
Two-day fintech offsite: ballroom by day, team casino night with play-money tables after.
The burnout reset
Three days, no laptop: spa circuit, lagoon cabana, early dinners, sleep score of 94 by Sunday.
