This site keeps it simple: a cookie to remember your cookie choice, plus privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages people actually read. No ad trackers, no cross-site following, no selling your clicks.

What cookies we use

vb_cookie_ok — remembers your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask every visit. Stored in your browser's local storage for up to a year.
Analytics — anonymous page-view data that tells us which articles and services people care about. No personal identifiers.
Preferences — small things like keeping your place in forms during a session.

What we don't use

No advertising cookies, no social-media trackers, no fingerprinting, no 'share with 247 partners' nonsense. If a service we embed (like the Google Map on the contacts page) sets its own cookies, that's governed by Google's policy — blocking third-party cookies in your browser handles it.

Your choices

The banner offers 'Essential only' or 'Accept all'. Essential keeps the site working (banner memory, form sessions); 'all' adds anonymous analytics. You can clear the choice any time by deleting site data for valeriabeach.space in your browser settings.

Managing cookies

Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete cookies per-site. Blocking essential cookies won't break reading the site, but the banner will reappear and forms may forget you mid-way. Mobile browsers have equivalent controls in their settings menus.

Embedded content

The Google Maps embed on the contacts page and font files served from Google Fonts may set cookies or log requests under Google's own policies. We embed them because they're genuinely useful — nothing else on this site phones third parties.

Policy updates

If we ever add a new cookie type — say, a booking tool that needs it — this page gets updated and the banner asks again. We don't slip new trackers in quietly; that would defeat the point of having a policy.
