Crown Perth's restaurant lineup is genuinely absurd — you could eat somewhere different every meal for a week. But 'which one's actually best' is the question we get most, so here's the ranking. All thirty-plus visited, receipts kept.
The top tier
- 1. Rockpool Bar & Grill — the best food in the complex, full stop. Dry-aged steaks, a wine list thicker than the pillow menu, and service that treats you like a regular from visit one. Ask for a booth near the open kitchen.
- 2. Nobu — yes it's the famous one, and yes it earns it. Black cod miso, yellowtail jalapeño, the tasting menu if you're celebrating. Books out weeks ahead on weekends — our reservation service exists for exactly this reason.
- 3. Silks — Cantonese fine dining that doesn't get enough hype. The Peking duck carved tableside is a proper occasion dish. Best for groups.
The great middle
- 4. Bistro Guillaume — French bistro done properly. The steak frites at the bar is the best solo dinner in the complex.
- 5. Epicurean — the buffet that broke the internet, and honestly? Worth it. Lagoon-view seats, seafood towers, dessert room. Book off-peak sessions for the best version.
- 6. Modo Mio — Italian with serious pasta game. The sleeper pick — locals rate it higher than tourists do.
Worth knowing
La Vie for champagne-and-something-light. Junction Grill for the reliable mid-range. The food court for 2am noodles — post-casino fuel that hits different at that hour.
Booking tactics
Prime slots (Friday/Saturday 7–8:30pm) go first everywhere — book two weeks out or use our concierge desk to chase cancellations. Early seatings (6pm) and late ones (9pm+) are easier gets and often better paced anyway. Epicurean: weekday sessions are dramatically better value than weekend.
Tell us the occasion and we'll name the right room — 'anniversary' and 'team dinner' have different correct answers.
