Towers vs Metropol vs Promenade: which Crown Perth hotel fits you

Same complex, same restaurants, same casino downstairs — so why does one hotel cost double another? The answer is more nuanced than 'nicer rooms', and it's the question we answer most when booking guests.

Crown Towers — the flagship

From ~$385/night. The newest tower, the biggest rooms (Deluxe starts at 47m²), the best finishes — real marble, proper tubs, the lagoon pool everyone photographs. Service is a notch above: more staff, more polish, Crystal Club lounge if your rate includes it.

Book it if: it's an occasion, the room itself is part of the trip, or you just want Perth's best hotel and can pay for it.

Crown Metropol — the smart middle

From ~$240/night. Recently refreshed rooms that are 80% of the Towers experience for 60% of the price. Slightly smaller, slightly less marble, same complex access. The pool is smaller but rarely crowded.

Book it if: you're spending most of the trip out and about, or the budget needs the difference for dinners. Honestly the best value play in the complex.

Crown Promenade — the practical base

From ~$180/night. The business-travel tower: smaller rooms, simpler finishes, and a location in the complex that means a bit more walking. But the beds are fine, the water's hot, and you're still inside Crown.

Book it if: the room is genuinely just for sleeping, you're doing an event at the complex, or every dollar saved goes to the fun budget.

Head to head

• Room size: Towers 47m²+ > Metropol ~40m² > Promenade ~30m²
• Bathrooms: Towers wins by miles (tubs). Metropol fine, Promenade functional.
• Pools: Towers lagoon is the resort experience; Metropol's is quieter; Promenade guests usually use Metropol's or none.
• Views: Towers has the height. Metropol mid-floors are decent. Promenade — ask for upper floors.
• Location in complex: Metropol arguably most central; Towers slightly further from the action; Promenade needs the covered walk.

Occasion + budget allows → Towers. Regular weekend → Metropol, and put the savings toward Nobu. Event/sleep-only → Promenade. And whichever you pick, our room concierge books it with floor and view requests — free.
